Lots of partying planned, lots of sleep to catch up on before we go! Lots of txting to do to keep our special jovi sistas up in the Northern Hemisphere going as well cos we so wish they could be here with us as well.

Weather is perfect, starting to warm up heaps, 25deg at moment and its late afternoon. Weather outlook for Saturday night in Wellington is looking great. Just keep the earthquakes away!!!!

I have a picture to upload when i get it of Jovi Buses driving all around Wellington so will upload that later.

Woohoo, not long to go now, hope the boys have a nice relaxing flight from Japan down here. Long flight but oh well, it will be worth it when they arrive!

21 days!!

Sorry i have not updated much on here for awhile. Been busy with homelife and also work and this past week has been absoulute bedlam. As alot of you know I am a Site Manager for a Kiwifruit Scientific Research Centre and this past week has been super dooper busy with Bio Security and Media etc due to the Kiwifruit devastating Bacterial infection they have found, so been full on with that. Anyway, enough of that! 21 days people, three weeks today, we will be heading our way into Wellington's Cake Tin, otherwise known officially as Westpac Stadium. A number of people have asked me that I update the blog with all our news and setlists etc which i really hope to do. The Rock Radio station announced the winners yesterday for the bands that will be opening the shows in Wellington and Auckland.......

Bon Jovi have made their decision, and we now know which of our great Kiwi rock acts will be supporting them at their Auckland and Wellington shows. The band have chosen:

•Black River Drive as their Wellington show opening act
•The Black Dahlias as their Auckland show opening act

According to my eldest, Black River Drive are pretty good.

Now for something totally yummy and one of my all time favourite Jovi Covers is this clip, Fade Away. JBJ used to do it heaps on the DA Solo Tour. Just love Tico's bit in the beginning too. They so need to do more Tico bits in the beggining, lol, like the old days. Long drum intro's!!! Yes!!!

Rumours!!!

Okay, last night for some reason there were rumours that Bon Jovi had cancelled the New Zealand leg of the tour and wow, went around like wild fire.

No truth to it! Matt Bongiovi tweeted just before saying its all false and tour is on! Shessh, where do these things start?

Listen to The Rock, http://www.therock.net.nz/ they are advertising both concerts all the time now and have a great competition for the warm up band before the show. (LOL, encouraging #1 son to put his entry in!!!). http://www.therock.net.nz/Win/TheBonJoviSupportActSearch/tabid/954/Default.aspx
and yesterday had auditions in the afternoon live on the radio, was so funny listening to people singing Jovi songs.

As for the Auckland concert. We are still being mushrooms here. Wish the Promoters would get their a's into g and tell us something!!!!!!

58 days to go till Jovi hit New Zealand!!!

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been awol lately!!! There are still many people stressing out about the Auckland concert. Its been three weeks since Ticketek took the ticket sales off the website and even with upteen people ringing them, emails to the promoters etc we are still none the wiser.

The latest was from the Promoters, Paul Dainty, that there possibly will be a venue change. We are all hoping that will be Vector Arena. But hey, its been over three weeks and theres only 58 days before the show??? C'mon!!!! Ticketek have told me previously two weeks ago that the tickets were going back on sale tomorrow!!!! Shessh! Not good. Pathetic really and I think it all comes down to the Promoter!

In Wellington billboards are up and advertising finally. They have started re advertising on The Rock for both concerts. But really, the advertising has been terrible.

Lets hope we hear something soon!!! And keep our fingers crossed the Auckland venue is going to be changed to the Vector. Then we can all walk from our hotels and do a pub crawl on the way home!!!!!!
