Ok, there is 36 minutes of 2010 left and its taken me all day to upload this one video to youtube to get it on here. So Im gonna start putting in Videos on radomly and in no particular order. Think i will have to convert the MP4's to AVI's to make them smaller and easier to upload.

I have two wonderful friends, Josie and Laura from Australia that I met back in 2008 and have stayed great friends with them since. We all got together again this tour when the girls came over to New Zealand and then we went over to Sydney! You girls just rock, love ya so much and miss you. Auckland Concert, Vector Arena, December 5th 2010

This is where Jon started the show with Last Man Standing. The band started playing and we were all expecting Jon to come on stage and then heard him singing and couldnt work out where he was only to turn around and there he is at the back of the arena. So cool.

Almost Happy New Year

Well here I am, with only 11 and a half hours to go till we reach 2011. I was so hoping to get all the photos and videos up before the end of the year! LOL, now thats not gonna happen as theres not much left to it at all now. Even less for us cos we are so far ahead in time of everyone. So my new years resolution is that I get all the blog updated and all the pics and videos on before I return to work. Okay, that gives me 10 days! Think i can do it!

Well friends, here is the video of our chance meeting with the band at Auckland, New Zealand. They were on their way to the Arena for soundcheck etc. There were only a few of us there and i think the boys were more than happy to stop and take pics. NZ doesnt have the Paparazzi and all that kind of stuff and very laid back so I think they had a good 5 days and werent hounded or anything. Deb is the one (Dabs71) telling Jon to just smile, we are Kiwigirls and wont hurt him and then telling us girls to bugger off and at .58 Jon saying 'Bosssssy Women' in such a cute NJ accent. Was a fantastic chance meeting and so pleased i got it all on video. Which meant i didnt get my pic with Jon but enjoyed capturing it. Definately got my cuddle with Richie tho and he just came straight in for it too. Im moving over to the dark side.....

The funny thing is when we were swooning over Jon and Richie, no one noticed Tico and Hugh just slip by. LOL. And David came out a few mins later and was really rushing as he was the last one out and running very late. Will upload that too.

Last Man Standing! The band came on and started playing LMS and we were waiting for Jon to make his grand entrance, lol, and then out of nowhere he was singing and we couldnt work out where he was and then turned around and he was on this little stage right at the back of the arena. Fantastic! Then walked back to stage.....

Ahemmmm, my review of the show for the Wellington Post

I got this phone call around 2pm on the Sunday before heading off to pick up our tickets for the Auckland Vector Arena show, with hardly any voice, and had a 20 min phone interview with Wellingtons Main paper asking for my review of the concert. LOL, thanks Deb, it was a surprise but fun!!!!!! And hubby asked, hmmmm Ms Collins from Tauranga now is it? And I said, yeah of course, especially on a Jovi Tour!!! And he actually replied, yeah i guess what goes on tour stays on tour. Damn, still didnt get to use that free pass I have had for years!!!!!!

A whirlwind visit from Bon Jovi answered all their Wellington fans' prayers, with a show that wowed even the band's most veteran followers.

The classic American rockers played to a near-sellout crowd of more than 35,000 at Westpac Stadium on Saturday night, a few short hours after they arrived in the capital.

Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, and the rest of the band arrived late in the afternoon and were back in their private jet after the show, travelling to Auckland to play last night at Vector Arena.

Frontman Bon Jovi took time midway through their Wellington gig to pay tribute to the 29 men who died in the Pike River Mine disaster, saying they had "just been trying to put food on their families' tables". The band dedicated their performance of When We Were Beautiful to the miners.

Bon Jovi fans Maxine Collins and Debbie Allison could not settle for just one night, and followed the band to Auckland yesterday. Armed with energy drinks and throat lozenges, Ms Collins spent yesterday afternoon watching video she took of the Wellington concert, before heading to Vector Arena.

Last night's concert was the Tauranga woman's 10th Bon Jovi gig this year. In May, she spent three weeks in the United States on a fan club tour, and saw the band perform in their home state of New Jersey.

She said the atmosphere at Saturday night's Wellington concert was just as good. "I think the Kiwis really did themselves proud. I just about lost my voice and I'm sure I will tonight."

Ms Allison, who owns a necklace made from one of the band's guitar strings, said she would never pass up the chance for a double dose of her favourite band. "I'm just a huge fan."

She said the band played a good mix of classics like Livin' On A Prayer, and material from their later albums.

Moving onto Auckland..........

Now on to Auckland. After partying at the Chicago Bar on the Wellington Waterfront at the Bon Jovi After Party with everyone until the early hours of the morning and a few hours sleep we all boarded the Jovi Jet to Auckland and settled into our hotels. Our plans were to meet up with a few of our Aussie mates down at the Auckland Waterfront and get tickets from the Arena which all sort of went to custard as the ticket pick up time was later. Rushed down to get the tickets in total aprehension due to all the negative thoughts and comments about this show and not knowing where we were going to be sitting..... Only to open our envelopes to see we had been upgraded a few rows and oh my, my seat, jons mike was dead centre with my nose! (Fantastic, but actually thinking now, its kinda good to be a little to the left or right of the white mic as all night the pics i got had jons mike in the middle of his face until he moved). Anyway, we left the arena to go and meet our other friends at the midway point as they thought we were staying at the Hyatt and low and behold, when we got there, we noticed a few toyota vans pulling up and just like that, Richie walks out and there were about six of us and we just said to Richie, hey Richie, would you mind taking some pics with us. He was soo cool, and relaxed and didnt mind at all. Im so pleased to have a pic with him. And I was filming it all the time too so when i had a pic with him, lol, the video camera takes a good recording of our feet (lol, ohh i know someone who might like that shot, but he wasnt barefoot??) and then carried on filming and the next thing Jon walks out. He was looking a little serious so our lovely Deb (the ones that is never the one to be shy lol) said, Ohhh come on Jon, give us a smile, we are just a few Kiwi girls and wont hurt you (or something like that) and he gave us the biggest smile and came in for some photos and then lol, said ever so sexily, Bossy Women! And I said, oh come on Jon, we arent bossy. He just loved the attention im sure. Absolutely kicking myself that i didnt get a picture with him but was so concentrating on taking all the video as I wanted to keep that moment forever!!!! Ohh and Sue asked Jon if there was any chance of Dry County tonight and he said it all depends on his voice and he was husky!!! but he did belt out a good Always so it was all okay in the end. They all had a car each too, that was funny or weird really. Anyway then David came rushing out and said he was running late for soundcheck so we said have a good night.

And man oh man, what a night! In all my years of concerts, and seven Jovi concerts this year alone and three more to go, that concert at Auckland's Vector Arena was the ultimate and I am wondering if anything can ever beat it. Im so looking forward to Sydney and am in the pit at the Stadium but nothing can beat a Arena that rocked like that. The crowd was amazing and the set list, fantastic. They started off with Last Soooo here are some pictures of the meeting etc. And the concert. Ohh and a copy of the setlist. Always wasnt on the Set list and Jon added it and made point of pointing to someone in the crowd and said that was for you. (think he mentioned Toni, wasnt quite sure). And he had to drag Richie off the stage at the end, so funny. Richie didnt want to go and was walking to the other side of the stage and it was almost like he grabbed him and said, hey you have to go first and i go off last.
