Long time, no posts!!!

Yes, I know! Its been sooooo long since I have posted on here. Shessh, coming up a year soon that Jovi were down in New Zealand. What fun memories we have, thats for sure. Life has been super dooper busy but I had a few moments free tonight and had a little look on Youtube and found some more videos that other people too of the Auckland and Wellington Concerts.

This one is great! It is at Wellington (December 4th) and really shows the crowd. Living on a Prayer and the crowd are fantastic and lol, can see a few of us there in the front rows!

Enjoy and will definitely have to upload some more videos and updates! Soon!

A forgotten TV New Zealand Interview

How could I have forgotten I had this? This was a interview done before the band hit New Zealand last December they did for TVNZ. LOL, 4.5million people in NZ (yes, thats our total population!) and they all can sing LOAP on Karaoke!

Isaac Williams, Aged 12 from Waimate, New Zealand

Isaac Williams is a lovely young man from Waimate, New Zealand who is a talented singer and guitar player. He's such a natural and after we had the pleasure of listening and watching him sing and play, know he has a huge future ahead of him doing what he seems to love... singing and playing. From Country Ballads to Rock, he can sing and wasn't fazed at all about having a large audience who sang along with him. So looking forward to seeing this young man flourish and go very far with his passion! He also busked in Wellington during the Bon Jovi concerts and did very well and was very very popular. Not only did he sing alot of Jovi songs he also sang some Johnny Cash and also Pink Floyd and was amazing. Isaac, thanks matey, you were awesome! Don't forget us when you get famous will ya!!??

Singing In These Arms......

First of all, flying out of my town.....

Flying out from where I live, Papamoa Beach, which is in the lovely Bay of Plenty and just down the road from the stunning Mount Maunganui.
















































This one is a bit further south in the North Island near the mountains. No snow near us!

Wow, four months have passed.....

Wow, I can not believe its been four months since I have uploaded anything to this blog. Shessh, doesn't life and work just get in the way too much sometimes! Work especially.

Last weekend May 18th - 22nd a few of us sistas all got together down in the South Island of New Zealand in a town called Timaru. Not a big town and lol, after the weekend I think they certainly knew us girls were there. It was planned to all meet in Christchurch which is like 2 hours drive away and central but after the second and very big devastating earthquake we had to make alternative plans and our wonderful sista and friend Sue put her hand up for us to all embark on her town and what a wonderful time we had.

Sue was amazing with organizing a whole lot of adventures and special surprises and we had such a blast. I will be uploading some wonderful pictures of the amazing New Zealand South Island Scenery for you all to see plus some great video of this amazing boy called Isaac who can play the guitar and sing like there is no tomorrow and can he sing!!! We need to package him up and send him over to American Idol (lol, well maybe when hes 16!) and im sure he will win the competition hands down! He can sing and play that guitar like he was born with it. So sit back and enjoy and I will plod along and get these pics and videos up.

I finally have it sorted! (Thanks for your help Nicki!!). I can now shrink and watermark my videos and upload them alot quicker than before so will start putting heaps up now. Any requests??

Ideally I would have loved to have put them up in order, i.e. Wellington NZ, Auckland NZ and Sydney but that wont be happening, so will just do them as I come across them and upload them here for you. Have had a few requests to put up the ones of Sydney and the downpour and the boys singing out on the outer circle. That was just amazing and I am so pleased I was able to capture. We were in the Pit so it was taken from behind them. But i need to apologise for some of the sound as the rain got in the camera and pretty sure its stuffed now (was brand new too - dems the brakes!)

Take me back to 1989........

Now lets all go back to 1989 (AND 1995), when Bon Jovi first came to New Zealand (Jon said it was in 1987 at the Vector Arena, but sorry Jonny, you got that wrong). Anyway, here are some pics of that time when we met them.......... and at a signing in Auckland. (Have some more and will upload later but have to get them again as they went up with a puff of smoke when the brand new laptops Hard drive died last week).

Ok, memories are that they smelt so devine. LOL, thats all I remember! (seriously) It was late afternoon and i gather they hadnt been up for long and freshly showered. Didn't stop Richie from having a beer tho. Funny I can't remember seeing that when we met them, but its obvious in the pics, lol.

Bed of Roses - Auckland, ohhh and a geography lesson lol

Okay, with this video I have used a programme to convert it from a massive 600MB Mpeg file to a smaller FLV file but unfortunately I loose the HD and clarity. I thought I would upload it anyway and see what you think. Let me know if you can see it all clearly enough. I am having trouble uploading the massive files and they get to 90% then bomb, which is a right pain in the backside.


Another gorgeous day here today. And the holiday makers and tourists can go back now to their own cities and countries and leave our little bit of paradise to us lol. There were two cruise ships in yesterday and Down at Mount Maunganui it was bedlam, never seen it like that before. Ohh what i will do is upload some pictures of where I live to give you all a idea of what im talking about and give you all a geography lesson lol. We live on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand (New Zealand is a island and has a two islands, the North Island and the South Island). On the map we are in the Bay of Plenty and near the town that says Tauranga.

Happy 2011!!

Good Morning everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful new years eve last night and for most of you, still having your new years eve that you are having fun and all staying safe. We had a lovely new years eve and went out for dinner then I went to the Mount to be the Mum Taxi and pick up the boys and their girlfriends after midnight from the huge celebrations at Mount Managanui, party meca of NZ. 40,000 people apparantly and all had a good time. Watched the fireworks and then the boys found me easily which was great!

Uploaded some more videos overnight. Sue! The first one is just for you sunshine! (Keep the groaning down to a low level will ya!!??)
