Ok, where to start????

OMG!!! What a wonderful 5 days we had! So much to tell, so much to say and so many photos and videos to share!!!! I am still suffering very badly from Jovi Fever, which includes no sleep, body totally sore from dancing till the sun was nearly up, no voice from singing and woohooing in the nightclubs and Bon Jovi after parties at local pubs etc. But I dont want any remedy!!! Can we relive that whole weekend over and over again! Hell Yeah! Can we touch the sky? Hell Yeah!!! And did Bon Jovi Rock New Zealand, Hell Yeah!!

Wellington concert was fantastic. 37,000 plus people (according to the papers) and the Cake Tin Baked like there was no tomorrow. The weather was absolutely perfect! Wellington certainly put it on! Set List was good, nothing fantastic, great for the general public with all the hits etc and the crowd did us proud, strong voices and lots of singing. BUT...................... OMG, the Auckland concert at Vector Arena, in all my years of going to shows and already seven shows this year and even comparing to Meadowlands, this one, was the Ultimate for me and many others I can tell you. There was so much energy there it was amazing. The band started with Last Man Standing and Richie, David and Tico etc were on stage and lol, here are waiting for Jon to make his grand entrance and then hes singing the first notes of LMS, what the heck???? OMG, where is he???? It was so funny! Then we turned around and had to jump on our seats as hes way down at the other end of the arena, right up the back with everyone in the stands on a single little stage standing in three spot lights on him, just amazing! The arena just roared. Then he walked back thru the crowd without a hitch! I could go on and on about this one concert, from the set list to the vibes and energy etc. And to Jon having to drag Richie off stage at the end of the encore. So funny.

And of course to our ultimate experience, meeting Richie and Jon and David, etc which was just so totally unplanned and amazing. And sharing that with our special friends too and to enjoy the buzz from that was amazing.

We have such a wonderful bunch of great Kiwi girls and also Aussies gals that came over too, such a wonderful time was had by all. Very hard to say goodbye at the end but for some of us, we still have someting to look forward to next week when we go to Sydney. And we also had our wonderful friends from overseas with us every step of the way in our hearts and thoughts and txts, and phone calls etc. So wish you girls (and you know excately who you are!) could have been with us too!!!

Ohh and lol, guess i will have to put a link to the flippin 20min Telephone interview i did with the Wellington Post wanting my review of the concert, lol, im still gigglin! How word travels!!!! (Thanks Deb A!! smirk!)

Anyway, will start putting a few things up. Might take me a bit. A few pics, a few videos a few other bits and peices and maybe some incriminating evidience lol, but none of me!!!! But enjoy.....

Jon Bon Jovi hits the right notes. Photo / Getty ImagesIt was an all-singing, all-dancing cowboy and cougar convention as Bon Jovi fans "whoa whoaed" along to the pop rock band's greatest hits at Wellington's Westpac Stadium last night.

"Is this New Zealand or New Jersey?" said the band's frontman: Jon Bon Jovi felt so at home for his first North Island concert in 15 years that he could barely tell the difference.

The legendary frontman's 1000-watt smile lit up the near-capacity stadium while Richie Sambora's guitars became a virtual fifth member of the band - they were that prominent.

The band steamrollered through their biggest hits including Livin' on a Prayer and It's My Life. Their rendition of Bad Medicine segued into a rocky version of Roy Orbison's classic Pretty Woman before reverting to the original.

Bon Jovi, whose lyrics often champion the working class, also paid tribute to the Pike River miners.

"They were just trying to put food on their family's tables," he said.

The Kiwi leg of the band's worldwide Circle Tour is halfway there. They play Auckland's Vector Arena tonight, and the fans are in for a treat.

Auckland band Black River Drive, who won a radio competition to open the proceedings, rose to the occasion well.

Jon did a wonderful tribute to the 29 Miners that died here last week and dedicated WWWB to them. The crowd were awesome and sang and sang.

Off to airport in half an hour to meet up with the rest of the girls and boys, man we will all be tired. After starting off at the the Chicago bar before concert went there afterwards for the BJ after party and man it rocked. Im soooooo sore, but it will be worth it.

Vector Arena tonight, woohoo.

Jon give us something different. He saw my sign and pointed and gave the nod, so lets hope he is going to do it tonight! And we need Something for the Pain, but mainly us Kiwis need Something to Believe in a the moment after all the terrible things happening lately.

Todays the day!!

Woohoo. today is the day of the first NZ concert here in Wellington. Laying in bed and woke up early (wonder why) when i didnt sleep well at all, (wonder why?) lol. Going out shortly to pick up a few more girls from the airport and then hitting town again. Another stunning day. Yesterday we paid for it sitting out in the sun on the waterfront, sipping coronas and limes and had a nice lunch watching all the lunchtime runners running past, mostly male with no tops on, ohh such is the life.

So today is gonna be a busy one, and went to the stadium last night. Ohhh heres a picture of the outside of it.....

I dont have a wifi phone at the moment so will have to txt to Karen in the States and she can hopefully update with setlist etc or else we will have to wait until tomrorow. But morning will be rushing off to catch flight to Auckland, a crazy Bon Jovi flight full of fans, how cool will that be.

I got to Skype with the girls!

I just got to do a video chat with Maxine, her sister Leslie, Janina, and Deb!!! It made me feel as if I was "almost" there with them! Made me wish more and more that Tamara and I were able to get 'down under' for these shows, too! Well, since I'm laid up now with a broken foot -- I'll be trying to help with the updates and keep you all in the loop so we can all feel like we're there with them!!!! Happy "hunting" ladies.... hope you get some good pictures and can't wait to hear all the stories! (And I mean ALL the stories!) LOL!

Going for run around waterfront!!!!

Whoooooooooooooohooooooooooo, Wellington has put on the most beautiful stunning day for the boys to arrive!!! If they arent here already. Come on, Matt, tweet us!!!! Going into town soon and lol for a run around the gorgeous waterfront, yeah right, will sitting down for some nice scenery to run past!!!! And even the littlie ones here going to Kindergarden are in the Jovi mode: This is Debs little girl; And this my friends is the view we are waking up to each morning. And no its not a blonde shaggy or darksider, shame........ but gorgeous anyway.......

Bon Jovi have been performing for close to 30 years but they still have the power to turn grown women into giggling schoolgirls.

Debbie Allison, 44, Viv Johnson, 46, and Deb Leslie, 39, all grew up with the band in the 1980s and now they will be meeting at least 40 other hard-core fans to attend Bon Jovi's Wellington gig at Westpac Stadium on Saturday.

The trio, who met for the first time yesterday after chatting on the Bon Jovi Facebook page, have all of the band's albums, DVDs and compilations.

Ms Allison, a Bon Jovi "freak" since 1986, has a necklace made from one of the band's guitar strings – that was used on tour – worth more than $100, while Mrs Leslie was given a signed picture of lead singer Jon Bon Jovi by her husband on their wedding anniversary. The pair will be flying up to Auckland on Sunday to attend the band's second New Zealand gig.

Though the three women admit that Bon Jovi are their "life", they say there are more dedicated fans out there – including one Kiwi woman who has followed the band around America and will be shadowing them here and at seven Australian concerts.

"There is a global community of Jovi sisters who are normal people, who hold down jobs," Mrs Leslie said. "But there are people out there who are quite odd. They think they are friends with the band, that they know secrets."

Miss Johnson is a more recent convert. In June she saw an old Jon Bon Jovi song on TV, which stuck in her head. Next she came across a DVD and within a month had bought all of their albums and had one cover tattooed on her ankle. "I was just hooked. I have it on my iPhone and listen to it all day when I'm walking dogs at work. It's in the car and I listen to it when I get home. You've got to have a very understanding boyfriend."

Though the rockers are aging, the women still believe their music is just as good as it was in the band's hey-day.

If there was any disagreement, it was about who in the band was hottest. Miss Johnson fancies guitarist Richie Sambora, while Ms Allison has a thing for Jon.

Mrs Leslie agrees he's attractive but says "he's too short with little jiggy jiggy hips". She would rather have a drink with the band – though drummer "Tico" Torres was cute.
