Rumours!!!

Okay, last night for some reason there were rumours that Bon Jovi had cancelled the New Zealand leg of the tour and wow, went around like wild fire.

No truth to it! Matt Bongiovi tweeted just before saying its all false and tour is on! Shessh, where do these things start?

Listen to The Rock, http://www.therock.net.nz/ they are advertising both concerts all the time now and have a great competition for the warm up band before the show. (LOL, encouraging #1 son to put his entry in!!!). http://www.therock.net.nz/Win/TheBonJoviSupportActSearch/tabid/954/Default.aspx
and yesterday had auditions in the afternoon live on the radio, was so funny listening to people singing Jovi songs.

As for the Auckland concert. We are still being mushrooms here. Wish the Promoters would get their a's into g and tell us something!!!!!!

58 days to go till Jovi hit New Zealand!!!

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been awol lately!!! There are still many people stressing out about the Auckland concert. Its been three weeks since Ticketek took the ticket sales off the website and even with upteen people ringing them, emails to the promoters etc we are still none the wiser.

The latest was from the Promoters, Paul Dainty, that there possibly will be a venue change. We are all hoping that will be Vector Arena. But hey, its been over three weeks and theres only 58 days before the show??? C'mon!!!! Ticketek have told me previously two weeks ago that the tickets were going back on sale tomorrow!!!! Shessh! Not good. Pathetic really and I think it all comes down to the Promoter!

In Wellington billboards are up and advertising finally. They have started re advertising on The Rock for both concerts. But really, the advertising has been terrible.

Lets hope we hear something soon!!! And keep our fingers crossed the Auckland venue is going to be changed to the Vector. Then we can all walk from our hotels and do a pub crawl on the way home!!!!!!

For the Kiwi's!! Radio Hauraki Competion!

HAURAKI ALBUMS OF THE WEEK - BON JOVI, BON JOVI and yep...BON JOVI
That's right my magic wee mushrooms there's not one but THREE Bon Jovi albums that you can possibly win in the next week!

SLIPPERY WHEN WET...The instant commercial smash for the band that has sold over 28 million copies world wide. The well -known album cover consists of a wet black garbage bag with the words "Slippery When Wet" traced in the water. However, originally it was to feature a busty, 34DD woman in a wet yellow tee shirt with the album name on the front of the shirt. Why was it changed? Did the band think it stereotyped women? No...Jon Bon Jovi hated the pink edging to the cover...

NEW JERSEY... New Jersey holds the record for the hard rock album to spawn the most Top 10 singles, with five singles charting on the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart in United States. No other hard rock album has ever equalled or broken this feat. It was initially meant to be a double album, but this idea was rejected by the record company because they got nervous about the higher price point and decided they would only release a single album. It has achieved sales of over 15 million worldwide.

KEEP THE FAITH... In October 1991 the band went to the Caribbean island of St. Thomas to discuss plans for the future; their 'internal' problems were solved and they were ready to have a go at a comeback. 'Keep The Faith' represented "The beginning of a new chapter in the history of Bon Jovi". The album turned away from heavy drums and wild guitar solos, and introduced a new, more 'mature' sound. To date the album has sold 10 million copies worldwide.

BUT HERE'S THE ADDED BONUS!... Each album has been updated with exclusive live tracks from the era, and includes a special reproduction vintage backstage pass that unlocks access to “The Bon Jovi Vaults" (a designated area on BonJovi.com). This will give you exclusive virtual content, including photos, tour memorabilia and additional live audio tracks! Nice.

Don't forget Bon Jovi are on 'The Circle' tour that seems them play Westpac Stadium, Wellington on December 4th and Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland on December 5th. Guys...make it an early xmas for the lady in your life! You can send her off with a mate to lust after Richie Sambora and you can slob on the couch watching sports and scratching...

Not one...

...not two ...

but three BJ albums up for grabs!

Lovely little entry passes too!
